New WA 18m Club Record

On Sunday 20th November Ian Chapman shot a personal best and Ely Archers WA18m record score of 505 – beating one of Roy Lockwood’s old top scores.

He even managed to make this smiley face in the target in the process.

These single scores and double scores (where appropriate) are now available in the PDF reports on the results page.

Several archers have obtained the new Portsmouth badges and I have lots of people who need to hand their old ones in to receive new ones!

Talking about badges Joshua and Alison have now obtained their indoor ‘F’ badges as well. Well done.

2nd Portsmouth Sunday

Today was our 2nd Portsmouth Sunday indoors. Ian and Daniel managed personal bests today. Ian scored 545 and Daniel scored 543. The actual senior Gents Portsmouth club record is 549 – so this can be beaten!

Steve shot a solid round of 465 today and it was great to see Alison record her first indoor barebow score of 317.

A number of Portsmouth badges have now been given out. I have lots more to give out this coming Friday. Last week Trevor received the 450 badge, but today he has gained the 475 badge – I expect to be presenting him the 500 badge soon.

Next Sunday we are shooting a Worcester.
