A mixture of Portsmouth and Bray rounds shot today. No new club records and no new classifications today, so a bit of news on personal bests and handicaps:
Mike Williamson scored a PB of 245 whilst shooting a Bray today, which moves him to a 40 handicap.
Daniel Coe scored a PB of 526 whilst shooting a Portsmouth today, which moves him to a 44 handicap.
Mothering Sunday, with some of us shooting Portsmouth rounds and others shooting Bray rounds.
Malcolm has gained his F badge again, this time with his new barebow set up.
Bartolemiej has obtained his E badge with his barebow.
Katelyn has gained her F badge, but is only 1 score away from her E badge. Katelyn also has a club record Portsmouth with a score of 410 on her recurve bow for Ladies U13.
We all shot Portsmouth rounds today.
Joshua gained a club record with a score of 309, he beat his own previous record of 274 (Gents U18 Recurve).
Harry scored 536 at the 22nd Jolly Archers tournament, which means he beat his own previous club record of 535 by 1 (Gents U14 Recurve).
Well done everyone.
15 of us took up the challenge of the specially modified Valentine’s Day targets, with 5 people taking home some chocolates, we gave the Top 3 archers a prize and then everyone else went into a lucky dip for the last 2 chocolate items. Thanks to Ian for printing the targets! Let’s do it all again in 2021 (or on a Friday in 2020).
23 archers shot on Sunday with most of us shooting at Portsmouth targets. Welcome Jack Kelly – our newest member who shoots compound. Well done to Malcolm for now obtaining his F badge with his barebow and to Joshua who has now obtained his G badge again, but now in the U18 category.
